Dec
Japan Transformers Works Co., Ltd. was founded for manufacturing telecommunication-use transformers in Taito-ku, Tokyo.
1943
May
Moved the Head office to Itabashi-ku, Tokyo
1945
Oct
Changed the company name to Sanritsu Electric Co., Ltd.
1947
Mar
Became a designated repeater coil manufacturer for the Ministry of Telecommunications
1955
Oct
Started development and manufacturing of transistor radios.
1956
Oct
Started manufacturing various types of coils for Crossbar exchange.
1959
Jun
Started development of plastic polarizers
1962
Apr
Fujioka Plant was constructed and started manufacturing various types of coils there.
1963
Dec
Succeeded in the development of plastic polarizers. Started their production at Narimasu Plant.

Dec
Achieved exports of one million transistor radios with per one model.

Constructed a manufacturing line for plastic polarizers at Fujioka Plant, and started production.

Constructed Kawagoe Plant. Started its operation as a plant for manufacturing various types of coils for Crossbar exchange.

Developed durable polarizers and multi-color polarizers.

Developed polarizers for high-contrast application and started their mass production.

Constructed Sendai Plant for the mass production of communications equipment. Completed building a Clean workshop to Process for polarizers in Fujioka Plant.

Oct
Changed the company name to Sanritz Corporation. Completed construction of the Head office building at Narimasu, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo.
1990
Apr
Started the mass production of subscriber arrester with remote transfer function for NTT.
1991

Constructed Toyama Plant. Started its operation of the automated polarizer mass production line.
1995

Developed polarizers with retardation film for wide viewing and high contrast applications and started their mass production.

May
Telecom System Engineering Division acquired ISO9001 Certification.
1998

Optical Division acquired ISO9001 Certification.
2000
Apr
Management Division and Telecom System Engineering Division acquired ISO14001 Certification.
2001
May
Developed polarizers with retardation film for reflection and translucent LCD panels and started their mass production.

Established an affiliated company in Korea.

Addition of Fab4 at Toyama Plant.
